Chapter 12

Layal didn't recognize the number but picked up anyways.

"alo?" she said.

"alo" answered a familiar voice.

She knew who this voice belonged to, it was Sager.

Layal sighed and hung up.

Dana and sarah looked puzzled.
"shfeech?" asked Dana.
"la mako ra8am '3ala6." Layal replied.

Her phone started ringing again.

Layal wanted to ignore him.

"laish ma trdeen, tabeeny afzhom Tara a3arf atkalam!" said Dana.

"la t9adgeenha na9aba." Sarah jumped in.

"la la 9ij a3arf yebay yebay" answered Dana.

Layal handed her the phone.

"alo? ...." Dana paused.

"moo gltlch ma t3arf." Sarah said an snatched the phone from Dana.

"alo shtaboon itdgoon thba7toona yah il ra8am '3ala6!" exclaimed Sarah.

"Layal mawjooda?" Sager answered calmly.

"ha?....Layal?" Sarah answered.

Layal shook her head telling her to say no.

"la mno Layal a9lan? Gltlk ra8am '3ala6 ma3a il salama!" Sarah answered and hung up.

Layal had a sigh of relief.

"shfeech Layal? Laish ma Tabeen tkalmeena? Mno Hatha a9lan?" Sarah was puzzled and so was Dana.

Layal explained the story to them from A to Z, she usually does not open up to people easily but she felt like this was a heavy burden on her chest and they were the first two people to actually show some true compassion towards her not because they felt sorry.

"7a8eeeeeer!" exclaimed Dana.

"Ana awaree!" jumped in Sarah

"shbtsaween wya wayhch." replied Dana.

"madry..." answered Sarah.

"bl6agag e6ga zain intey 7gree" said Dana.

Layal sighed and nodded.

Sarah looked at the time, "Dana imshay ta2kharna 3ala klassna , Layal btmeen hny?"

"ee 3ndy break sa3tain lil asaf.." replied Layal.

"okay 3ayal Awal ma n5al9 bneelch!" said Dana.

Layal nodded and smiled.

Sarah and Dana walked away, a few minutes later Sager walked over.

Layal sighed and ignored him.

"Layal...", said Sager.

Layal kept ignoring him and going through her phone.

"laish t7agreen?" he asked.

Layal looked up at him, "shtaby?!"

"Ana dag 3alaich msa3-" he got cut off by Layal.

"la ma7ad dag.." she answered

Sager dialed her number and her phone started ringing.

Layal gulped, "Inzain shtaby asawy ard 3alaik ya3ny?! Maby athaytny just leave me alone."

"Ana dagayt 3alaich 3alashan il maktaba ma ra7 erdoon il ID maly ila itha rdaytay il kitab..." he explained.

Layal paused for a moment,"ay kitab?" she quickly remembered and bit her lip.

"shno ay ktab intey il thanya! ily khathaytee!" he said.

"nsayta bl maktaba! " she answered

Sager sighed and walked towards the library but he couldn't find it.

He ran his fingers through his hair,"walaaaaaay".

He decided to get back to Layal who had the book on the table in front of her.

Sager raised an eyebrow, "tl3been intey tl3been? Kaho 3ndch! " he snatched the book.

"nsayt." replied Layal, she decided to get back a him this time by annoying him.

"nsaytay ha?" Sager rolled his eyes and walked away.

Layal turned back to her phone and grinned.

Sager took a quick glance back at her and saw her smile while she was looking at her phone.

He smirked and shook his head, '6ala3tay moo hayna' he thought to himself.
