chapter 18

DISCLAIMER: I uploaded chapter 17 and 18 at the same time so make sure you read chapter 17 first!!!

An hour later Layal was waiting outside her professor’s office to ask him a few questions about her assignment.

Sager was waiting for the same professor; he was there a couple of minutes before Layal arrived.

15 minutes passed and the professor still didn’t arrive at the timing he said he will.

Layal sighed  and was flipping through her assignment.

Sager coughed, ”Assignment?”

Layal looked up then looked back down at her paper, “ee”.

“khal ashoof..” Sager replied.

Layal rolled her eyes, “La walla… tara sheklk ta3awadt t7acheeny 3alabalk 3ady ya3ny? La moo 3ady.”

“Tara ana sha6r o ana il7een ga3d akalmch 3an derasa yebay ashoof shda3wa intey fal7a fee il7een.” Sager smirked.

“La 3alabalk ana ‘3abya ya3ny?! A9lan 3araft il jawab.” Layal replied.

“inzain 3ayal laish layl7een na6ra?” Sager leaned back on the wall.

“baroo7!” Layal rolled off, she didn’t know the answer but she just said that as in to “shut him up”.

‘ana shako atfalsaf agool adry malat 3ala il thaka2 ily feeny!’ Layal thought to herself.

30 minutes later

Layal was sitting down staring at the assignment and she still didn’t know the answer.

Sager looked at her from a far and walked over then snatched the paper quickly without her knowing.

“Hey!” Layal exclaimed.

“n6ray …” Sager looked through her paper.

“agool i7trm nefsk o 3a6ny il wrga o roo7 3any!” Layal exclaimed.

“tgoleen thakya ba3ad! Allah e3een law ‘3abya chan shno sawaytay?!” Sager chuckled.

Layal rolled her eyes,”shtaby il7een?!”

“Tabeen il jawab?” Sager asked.

Layal sighed, “Aby il wrga…”

Sager shrugged, “Okay bes ohwa due 3gob sa3a intey o thaka2ch il khar8 7lee broo7ch.” He placed her assignment on the paper and walked away slowly.

Layal sighed, “la7’6a!”

Sager smirked then turned around, “na3am?”

“3a6ny il answer….” Layal finally said without looking at him.

“shegoloon il nas?” He asked.

“please…” She replied.

Sager smirked and sat down.

“Hey hey la tg3ad 3ndy wain ga3deen 3aib!” Layal exclaimed.

Sager looked at her.

“La tg3ad…” Layal said.

Sager stood up, “khala9 bnogaf.”

“ba3ad moo hny maby a7ad eshoofny wya 9bay!”

“tabeeny ogaf 3nd il 7dood o a36eech il jawab way wayhch.” Sager replied.

“maby a7ad eshoofny wyak….haman law derasa.” She replied.

“sh8a9dch?” Sager replied.

Layal was quite, clearly she meant he had a bad reputation and she didn’t want people to start talking about her in a bad way.

Sager understood what she meant when she became quite.

“chthy ya3ny?”Sager tossed her paper on the table and walked off.

Layal sighed and bit her lip. She somewhat felt bad but she couldn’t blame herself for her reaction.

Later on Dana Layal and Sarah all went over to Danas house.

Layal glanced over at Sagers house and saw him sitting outside on one of the benches.

Layal waited till Dana and Sarah got into the house, she glanced over and rolled herself a bit closer to where he was.

“uhm….Ana asfa.” Layal said.

“Roo7ay moo intey hamch kalam il nas?” he asked without turning to her.

“Ee ba3ad ma tgdar tloomny! Inta adra ya3ny bacher shegoloon 3any?!” Layal exclaimed.

“Ma ra7 egoloon shey…” Sager replied.

“imbala…il nas ma tr7am edawroon il zala.” Layal replied.

“adry, bes intey ma t6la3 mnch il zala..”

Layal was a bit shocked from what he said,”umm…”

“O ana asf ba3ad…” Sager apologized.

“asf 3ala shno?” Layal asked.

“Klshey mn sbty…” Sager replied while looking down.

Layal bit her lip understanding what he meant, “Hatha 8a’6a2 allah o 8adara…”

“Bes ana ily sawayta ‘3ala6…law moo ana cha-” He answered.

Layal cut him off, “Law moo inta chan ana layl7een bakoon mashloola hatha ily raby ktably iya o ana ra’6ya ib hel shey.”

Sager was a bit surprised from her reply; he finally looked up at her.

“ana msam7tk…” Layal said.

Sager smiled,”…bes ana moo msam7ch.”

Layals eyebrows went up.

“at’3ashmar yoba at’3ashmar, msam7ch.” He chuckled.

Layal rolled her eyes and smiled, just as she was about to roll away Sager spoke.

“ta3alay wya wayhch saygkom a7la mny? Komar madry babo” He said.

Layal couldn’t help but laugh a bit even though she tried to hold it in.

“Isma rajo o jameel ba3ad..o int shako ga6 athoonik 3aib” Layal finally broke the ice even though she never does that with any guy.

“rajo babo nefs il shey ,tkfain shayfa wayha intey?” Sager replied.

Layal smiled a bit and rolled off, the irony of the situation was she felt comfortable talking to Sager even though not so long ago he was the reason that made her life miserable.
